The project examines sponge-like fragments collected from the Kolovrechtis Wetlands, questioning whether they belong to nature or constitute post-industrial waste. When submitted to Google Image Search, the objects are identified as sea sponges, fossils or fried chicken. By scraping and analyzing conflicting results, the work explores how algorithmic classification produces unstable meanings, generating hybrid forms where material objects and their digital interpretations continuously reshape one another.
