Pipes transport water, oil and other materials linked to geological processes. Trapped air within these systems often signals leaks, and the movement of bubbles can be captured using contact microphones. Through sound, the project investigates the acoustic emissions of pipes, connecting underlying physical dynamics, which are otherwise invisible, to human experience. In the installation, pipes transmit sound through aluminum panels and a rotary sub, guiding the audience through the exhibition.
