Session VI. Care in Creative Practices

Theoretical and empirical investigations in technology and/of care in art and creative practices. The focus is on the invention of new ways to experiment with creativity and technology in ways that demonstrate responsible and empathy towards self, others, and the world, as well as on the exploration of the cultural relevance of miscellaneous techno-scientific practices as they are developing at the intersection of technology, science, arts, philosophy, and ethics. How might human and more-than-human actors engage creatively with themselves, others, and the planet in a responsible and “caring” fashion? Should machines be included in the calculus of care? Is DIWO a form of care towards (more-than-)human ontological relations? How do TOC aids tackle concerns of care in creative practices?
